Trail Condition Update Feb 2024

Our trails have unfortunately been damaged by recent storms. There are several large trees and a great deal of woody material down on all our trails. Portions of our River Trail have been washed away or eroded. We are doing our best to clean up, repair, and reroute trails, but we have limited staff capacity. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask that you please use extra caution when hiking. Please be aware that Spear Trail and River Trail West are the most heavily damaged. Some sections are impassable. We recommend using alternative trails.

Our staff are happy to provide trail condition updates and route recommendations. Contact us at 802-434-3068 or vermont@audubon.org Our Visitor Center is open Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM. Please stop by!
